Firstly I'm not ever one for bad reviews as I feel negative criticism on a platform as huge as this can have a real affect on a business but in this case I really have to make an exception. The place is filthy. Not just a bit of dust here and there but pure grime with dirt on the floors,ceilings,...

My daughter and I have stayed at the Grand Metropole a few times mainly because the location is great. We will never stay again the hotel needs a good clean. The corridor carpets looked like they hadn't seen a Vac in a month. The room we stayed in the bathroom was dirty with marks all over the mirror and the...

We stayed a few days before the Easter weekend for 1 night and we stayed 2 nights in the Imperial along the Road. We are not going to compare both Hotels as they both had lots of History, Good points (for us) and one or two issues in the Grand Metropole Hotel. The location is Excellent and although a little...

Stayed in this hotel (Saturday 22nd April 17) party of 8, 4 rooms. Upon arriving noticed rooms we had all paid the same amount for were completely different in size. Rooms were absolutely filthy with pills found in draws, stained sheets, dirty windows, dusty, dirty towels, filthy toilet and shower! Rude receptionist, room clearly not been cleaned since last guests....

Room clean, warm and spacious, only downside was there were no towels at all in the bathroom. The food was okay for one night and the staff in the restaurant were very attentive. On returning from the concert at 11.00 pm the residents bar was closed which seems a bit strange on a Friday night in Blackpool but as there...

We occasionally stay at this hotel as it is a great location and has good sized car park. We have had some bad luck with rooms in the past but this latest room was awful, thought we had done well getting a view of sea and North pier but windows were so dirty and damp it was not pleasant looking...

Went with National Holidays and the worst hotel we have ever been in. On arrival the room key was practically thrown at you by the surly receptionist. Room was filthy couldn't see out of the windows and could write name in the filth on the window sill. Worse still room backed onto a karaoke bar and soul suite so no...
