Well, whatever other people have said in their reviews (which I perused when I'd booked the trip), I found this hotel, for the price paid, very good, bordering on excellence. My sea view room was a lovely size with a double bed, and everything was spotless; the shower was excellent. This is the third trip I've had with Alfa Tours,...

Traveled with Alpha Tours for a 5 day break to The Queens Hotel Blackpool. As usual the food was very good, and most of the staff were excellent, the exemption to this was an older chap who served behind the bar who caused some issues, but we still enjoyed our stay.

This is our second visit to the Queens Hotel and I can't fault it. I don't know how the other reviewer has the audacity to say there were older people there, or the other person who said it is not for the under 70s. They have as much right to be there as anyone, they pay their money just like...

I stayed here for one night in the Autumn with my son who was in Blackpool to visit the pleasure beach. Had a quiet room on the corner of the top floor which had superb views of the sea and illuminations to the North and West. The room had obviously been recently refurbished and was modern, warm and clean with...

From the welcome, to the cleanliness to the standard of room (we were on first floor with sea view) and the amazing Victorian theatre bar at the rear, we enjoyed our stay. Its at the quieter end of Blackpool, which suited us just fine as the North becomes bandit town on a weekend from 6pm onwards! Like others, our only...

Dear Detlev M, I was sorry to note that you experienced difficulties in making your booking. I would like to advise that the hotel was actually closed at the beginning of February and only reopened for business on the 20th March. As the hotel was closed, the reception was not being manned 24 hours a day and the staff were...

Nice room, very clean, warm and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in en Suite. Very wide range of choice on menus, the food was nicely cooked and presented, pleasant and helpful staff in all departments. The location is on the sea front a short walk from the south pier but there are very frequent trams and buses stopping close to...

Dear wmoo, I was sorry to see that you were disappointed with your stay at the Queens Hotel. The tables in the hotel are generally set out in tables for four people however had you requested a table for 2 at the time of booking, the hotel staff would have done their best to arrange this for you. You state...
