Can only guess the 3 *** rating was for the TV having a functioning remote control. The room was cold .... when the radiator was on. Definitely needs bringing up to date.....pretty sure I saw polystyrene tiles on the ceiling. Walls are paper thin. On a plus the breakfast was good, slightly on the small side though. Would I stay...

I was attending a wedding in Blackpool so i booked the Brayton. When I arrived I was told the single room I was staying In was through the dining room...literally a door at the end of the dining room with a bed behind it. An 80s pale pink bathroom suite with a large window that looked out onto the owners...

Booking.com and trip advisor both rate this relatively well so I booked it based on that and also availability at half term was scarce! So, on arrival everything was ok and the lady was fine checking us in and I would say straight talking, to the point and helpful. The room was ok. A bit tired and I would suggest...

Arrived at tea time, checked in ok, room was ok, bunks beds creaked along with the flloor, tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked. We were asked to fill in a breakfast menu and an approx time we would be eating which we did. Went out arrived back at 10.45pm, bar was shut which we had expected tbh, we...

Visited here with my partner in July and had left a positive review whilst staying there but felt I should rewrite as it was inaccurate come the end of our stay. On arrival, we were greeted by a lady who gave us our room key and took payment for our room. This was fine and we proceeded upstairs to our...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend. The location is brilliant a few team stops from the centre and on a good day only a twenty minute walk. Upon arrival we were surprised to see a 3 star rating outside as this definitely doesn't reflect the inside. The first thing that hit us was the fusty...

Good old fashioned B&B near Gynns Square. Happy to take pet dogs as well as assistent ones. Allowed to take to breakfast (in separate room) and she even got a sausage.. Park just over road allows dogs to use! Room was small (single) but had all that was needed inc an en-suite. Clean and cleaned daily. Choice of breakfast 😀...

0* ! ...I wouldn't even give this hotel a star. Me and my husband booked this hotel unaware of its reputation, and due to everywhere else being fully booked. Upon arrival the building looked shabby but we went inside anyway and were greeted by a lady who was dripping of sweat however seemed very nice, she checked us in. When...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the quieter North Shore area of Blackpool, the family-run, The Brayton overlooks Gynn Gardens a grassy park with childrens playground, and the Promenade. During the Illuminations, a stretch of the lights are visible from the hotel (2011 - 2nd September - 6th November inclusive). There is free on-street parking, generous cooked breakfasts and cosy en suite bedrooms. The individual rooms at The Brayton each have a private bathroom, and hospitality facilities with mineral water and biscuits. A ground floor room is also available. Many rooms have LCD TVs with Freeview, and all feature complimentary toiletries. Travel cots and bedding are available on request for the family rooms at a charge of £3.50 per cot per night. High chairs and baby/toddler cutlery are also available in the restaurant. Delicious full English breakfasts made from locally sourced fresh ingredients are served daily, with lighter options and childrens portions also available. The well-stocked bar offers beverages and snacks, and a selection of freshly prepared light meals are available from noon until 9pm each day. A 2 or 3 course dinner menu is also available by prior arrangement. Packed lunches can also be arranged. Just a 20-minute walk or 5-minute tram ride from Blackpool's lively centre, The Brayton Hotel is a mile from Blackpool's North Pier and is handy for Blackpool Tower, The Winter Gardens and a number of the major conference venues. The Hotel is ideally situated for Promenade access by foot or tram or car - one minute's drive so ideal during the Illuminations. On request, a free shuttle service to the town centre is available for large groups. The Brayton can also offer secure covered storage for bicycles/motorbikes for guests. The Brayton caters for single travellers, couples, families and group bookings but regret that stag and hen parties can not be accommodated. The maximum number of adult occupants in a family room is 2. The Brayton is strictly non-smoking - if guests do smoke in a room, then the total cost of deep cleaning the room will be charged. ... more   less
