this hotel was ok for what you pay, not the best accommodation, but if you are like us then you don't spend much time in the hotel room. it's extremely close to any attractions being in the centre of blackpool. me and my boyfriend(now fiancé) went for a cheap weekend away together, i think it were £55 for 2 nights...

Hi me and 3 friends have just returned for a girly night at The New Shirley and what a great time was had by all!!, staying at the New Shirley was very pleasant. Chantelle the owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and was also very obliging. No it isnt the hilton but what do you expect...

From the street, the New Shirley Hotel seems a bit shabby and a little unwelcoming. We had trouble finding which of the three doorbells actually worked, so ended up ringing the manager to gain entrance. On reflection, this was a good security feature, as you could only enter if you were a guest with a key or you were buzzed...
