Me, my partner, and our three sons stayed in meland for two nights. On arriving we was greated by the friendly couple, shown into the dinning lounge asked to pay then shown to the room. First impressions of the room was a bit disappointing, the decor was dated and effortless, and a bit on the gubby side when you looked...

Thank you for your review, it is always interesting to hear from people who have never been to Blackpool, as they tend to look for entirely different things than regular visitors. You and your partner were doubly interesting as you had never stayed in a B&B before, which is in atmosphere and general 'experience' very different from staying in a...

Stayed here with my daughter and 3 grandchildren in the room with double, single and bunk beds for 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable, I needed to ask for extra pillows but these were provided with no problems. Breakfast was delicious and we all were made to feel very welcome by Joanne and Richard. Will definitely be back.

Dear Susan, it was lovely having you here with your daughter and grandchildren, and we are so glad you all had a great time, especially as you both work in 4* hotels and told us you were used to a certain standard ;-) We hope to see you all back sometime!

We had a lovely welcome, we only paid £130 for 2 adults and 3 children for 2 nights so everything was fine as far as I was concerned. It was close to parking and a very short walk to the tower and sea front many thanks for a lovely stay

My partner, my daughter and our two nieces stayed here for one night. We went with a it's a Blackpool B&B point of view and didn't expect a 5 star luxury, we paid a great low price for a family of 5. The hotel is clean and spacious and the staff are friendly. What concerns me is my partner left...

Dear Laura and Rob, thank you for both your reviews. On different rating systems different scores mean different things, so while on Tripadvisor a 3 out of 5 means you would still recommend a place (but you're not completely bowled over by it, to be fair), on our own system anything below a 4 means that you really are unhappy...

We booked this place as a cheap overnight stay while visiting Blackpool recently. On arrival we were a bit apprehensive as it's not in the most picturesque part of town. We shouldn't have worried though as we received a real warm welcome. We had arrived really early so just left our bags and went off into town. When we came...

Thank you so much for your kind review. I know your '3' is a good '3', because you told me about your holidays to sunnier climates, and we can't claim the swimming pool, spa and tennis courts ;-) It was a joy to meet you all, and we'd love to have you stay again! Best wishes to you all!!!

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Meland B&B. A small family friendly B & B. Very clean and comfortable, ideal family room, two rooms together with bunk beds for the kids. Richard and Joanne were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Full English Breakfast was delicious. Very nice family and dog Bella. Would definately recommend this b &...

Jo and Richard, the owners, have a lovely family friendly hotel, situated not far from the centre of Blackpool. We came to visit friends in Blackpool and spent the weekend at The Meland Hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights just after Easter, with our 5-year-old daughter and our 8 and 12-year-old sons. We stayed in the 'Young Family Room' at the back of the building (so it was lovely and quiet!), the room was very clean, light, with colourful bedding and a Disney picture on the wall. The TV had over 30 channels,...
