First impressions of this hotel was downstairs nice and clean, then we was took to our room, room 9 then it went downhill, the room was so small me and my husband kept bumping into each other the double bed was pushed right up to the wall the room was only big enough to be a single, so i slept...

We found the Darfield to be very welcoming, quiet and clean. We enjoyed breakfast and thought the pricing was more than reasonable, too. The location is also good, with a lot of Blackpool's popular attractions just a short walk away.

I went to Blackpool for my birthday weekend with friends for a football match. I stayed here with my son and brother. We shared a room with three beds and en suite. Location was very handy for tower, Winter Gardens and promenade. Hotel was clean and couple running it were very friendly. Price was excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Darfield. Our trip was mum, daughter and friend and we had a triple room (11). The staff are very friendly and Stephen the owner made us feel very welcome. We had a drink in the bar while motherbear had a recharge snooze and prices were reasonable. Car parking is just up the road on...

We stayed here as a family at the end of October and can't fault the room for the price we paid. We were in room 15. Right at the top. My wife was not keen on the skylight but it didn't bother me at all as we didn't really spend much time in the room . Only to sleep really....

I stayed for here for one night over the half term with my two young children, and I think it's one of the nicest places I've stayed in Blackpool. I had a triple room with a double and a single bed; and by Blackpool standards it wasn't a bad size. The bathroom was compact, but spotlessly clean. The beds were...

The owners were really nice and friendly but im afraid there isnt alot of positivity about anything else, i had a family room which had a bunk bed and a 4ft bed (3/4) totally unsuitable for two adults, also very lumpy and uncomfortable. My son got into his bed and found some kind of white tablet or sweet, could have...

I am horrified to find that you found something in the room even a sweet! it should not have been there (this will be taking up with housekeeping), can i ask why nothing was said during your stay or after breakfast if you were not happy therefor giving us a chance to rectify it rather than just a bad review,...

Situated about halfway up Charnley Road, this hotel is probably quite an old building but the rooms look fresh and brightly decorated. The owners/ staff are friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. I stayed with my young son, for three nights and really enjoyed the stay. Ok the hotel is not going to be perfect for everyone. The stairs are quite...

Very disappointed with this hotel. Website & reviews were good and this certainly assisted me to book for our 4 night family holiday. Bed was comfortable and bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The hotel was definitely below my standard. Website is out dated. No parking. Extra charge for parking. Decor was rough. Hotel needs a good clean. Extremely...
