Enjoyed 2 nights at this excellent guest house . Large rooms, with lovely breakfasts and beautifully clean bathroom. The huge four poster bed was so comfortable . Convenient for walking to either Bowness or Windermere with good choice of nearby eateries . Plenty of tea and coffee in room . Would recommend .

spent three nights at Newstead Guest house being looked after by June and Ross. Nothing seemed to be any trouble to them both. My room was at the rear of the property so was very quiet and very clean. Comfy bed and plenty of tea/coffee in the room. The dining room is set out in keeping with the rest of...

Just returned from the Newstead Guest House, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Location - 5minute walk up to Windermere and a 15-20minute walk down to Bowness. Restaurants shops can be found in both. Parking is located at the rear of the house. Cleanliness - the hotel was kept very clean and our rooms cleaned everyday at 12. Breakfast...

Stayed in this guest house over the bank holiday weekend. We had a room with a 4 poster bed which was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful, served by the polite and accommodating host. The location was ideal, right between Windermere and Bowness. The host was able to give us lots of information if where to visit,...

Spent 3 nights here...fantastic super-king 4-poster bed; very tasty breakfast and lovely owner. Breakfast was pretty early 08.30-09.15 but made sure you were out and about making the most of the day! 5 mins walk from Windermere or a good 20 mins to Bowness.

This was a really pleasant stay. The owners were very friendly and gave excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. The English Breakfast was very nice. Beware that you can't eat breakfast in your pyjamas though :p

A excellent guest house with comfortable furnishings and a hearty breakfast given. Stayed in many guest houses but this one off the best. If we are back in the area-we will be back. Plenty of room space and new bathroom. Cant think of anything negative.
