Fantastic hotel with views over the lake,quite, remote, but only a few miles from Ambleside. Accomodation first class, excellent bar meal and very friendly staff. Easy access to the ferry which takes you to Ambleside and Bowness.More

Really lovely hotel in great location. Room clean and very spacious with excellent bath and shower. Really nice hotel and grounds, short walk from hotel down to the lake with lovely views. Food in restaurant excellent and breakfast also very good. Would recommend!

Hi Lou, Room 9 doesn't have a view of the Lake I'm afraid and has a view of the inner courtyard of the hotel. It is one of our classic rooms in the original part of the building. Kind regards, Albert Waldon Hotel Manager
