Came here with my partner and our dog. The hotel was comfortable and relaxed but efficient on service. We had a two night stay with breakfast and both mornings the service at breakfast was quick and polite. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. You can take dogs in all areas of the hotel except the dining...

Absolutely stunning surroundings, I can definetely see why people choose to get married here. Rooms are lovely and finished in quality and it shows. The entire hotel is of the same standard and very inviting. All this plus the fact the hotel is dog friendly which is fantastic especially if you wish to go for long walks through the stunning...

We got married here in September and I have just booked to return for my mum's 60th. (It has taken me a while to write this review!) Staff and facilities wonderful, food fabulous - nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to help my partially sighted and disabled mother in law and I can't thank them...

We celebrated our wedding at Cragwood this weekend and I am so glad that we chose this location. We had the hotel for the weekend and we felt like we were hosting a house party. Phillip, Stacey and the whole team worked so hard to make sure that everything ran like clockwork and that our guests were taken care of....

The hotel location was right on the Windermere lake with wonderful views in 3 directions, The rooms were very spacious with a king size bed, the bathroom was very small. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, bearing in mind there were a few young energetic children in the party, they did not appear fazed...

Looking to spend a few days away for my birthday in January we happened upon the Cragwood Hotel. The reviews were good on trip advisor and I have to say I agree with them. The hotel is very comfortable with roaring log fires, an informal atmosphere and is doggy friendly. That may be a downside to some but I welcomed...

We came to Cragwood last year as a group of 24 for a Christmas party night - and it was so good that we unanimously decided to come back in 2015. It was just as good! The food was excellent, the rooms were spotlessly clean, views overlooking Lake Windermere amazing and the festive atmosphere was magical. Philip and his team...
