This a lovely top end Hotel. Extremely professional, attention to detail second to none. We only spent 4 days but it was so relaxing, our room was beautiful, large and a fabulous view over the lovely gardens and a glimpse of Lake Windermere. The room was absolutely spotless, the bathroom large and totally immaculate, the bath even had a jaccuzzi...

We have just returned from a short midweek break at the Craig Manor and we really wished we had booked for a longer stay. We had almost given up on finding a good hotel which also had a good restaurant. The moment we walked through the door we were greeted in by a very friendly and helpful receptionist and the...

The breakfasts were surperb and the serving staff were very obliging in setting up breakfast for us in the lounge so we didn't have to...

Stayed one night at the end of the Dales Way. Room comfortable and everything we needed was at hand. Very dog friendly. Could eat in the lounge area with our dog. Had a nice evening meal and service was excellent. Breakfast was set up for us in the lounge and nothing was too much trouble, as hotel provided dog bed...

Outstanding views from rear of hotel and an ideal location for Bowness. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent and the staff polite and helpful. The D,B & B rate was good value. However the hotel's public areas and bedrooms are tired and shabby. No 'roaring log fires' on the coldest weekend of the year meant that the lounges were cold...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the hotel and it didn't let us down. Firstly we would like to praise the staff, especially the waitresses. The same ones served all weekend, what pleasant, helpful and professional girls. Cannot fault them at all. The 4 course evening meals were absolutely fantastic, so beautifully presented and so scrummy!!!! Rooms...

Ok the rooms are small and not 4 star modern quality but what this place lacks in modern perfection it makes up for with oodles of character, good parking spaces with easy walking to Windermere or Bowness on Windermere and lets not forget the pleasant staff to make you feel comfortable.
