Stayed here after another day on the C2C. Hosts were very nice and the room was quiet and very comfortable. Very modern B&B and would happily recommend to others. Breakfast was served early which was appreciated and food was of a high standard.

Nigel and Heather were welcoming hosts and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The guesthouse was a relatively short walk into either Bowness or Windermere. The full English breakfast was great and just the fuel required for a day's walking and exploring the area.

We spent 2 nights there 6 - 8/8/16. Met with the warmest of welcomes by Heather who offered us tea and cakes on arrival. Our immaculate room had a comfortable, 5ft 4 poster bed, tea coffee and hot chocolate making facilities and en suite shower room with bath robes. Useful information folder in the room with local information, taxi numbers...

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable and the whole place was spotless. Heather was lovely and Nigels breakfasts were delicious! The guest house was really well situated between Windermere and Bowness. Will definately be returning here!

Very friendly and warm welcome, great location (easy to walk into both Windermere and Bowness), clean and comfortable room (with a teddy!), DVD selection available to watch in room, excellent breakfast (you order the night before and it is fully customisable - e.g. sausage, bason, beans, fried bread, no mushroom etc etc). The poached eggs to die for!

We spent the first four nights of our 14 day trip to England and Scotland here. We found it to be a very relaxing and welcoming stay and in hindsight, it was our favorite place out of the 8 places we stayed at: the bed was very comfortable and we slept wonderfully there. The room was clean, quiet and offered...

This very charming guest house is cozy, comfortable and conveniently located within walking distance of both Windermere and Bowness. There are lots of breakfast selections including fried bread (yummy) and eggs benedict which the owners prepare and serve themselves.

We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived & were shown to our room. Our room was spotlessly clean (as was the whole property) & quite charming.
