Came here for our wedding anniversary and were delighted. We were greeted by lovely staff and although we were too early to check in, we could use the spa until our room was ready. The outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the lake is great. The room was lovely and clean, had everything in and overlooked the lake, very nice. The most amazing thing...

From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, our room was amazing with fantastic views, we had the 5 course evening meal, which was exceptional, once again all the staff were delightful, breakfast was also lovely, but what made it for us was the minute my husband locked his keys in the boot, all the staff...

I am not one to put negative reviews before addressing the issue direct but sadly the hotel HQ have chosen not to reply to me I have just recently returned from a 1 night stay in select plus room (50) with my partner David Andrew Gardner. If I may I would like to give some feedback but also express my...

This hotel was fantastic for the start of our trip away. Fantastic views looking onto the lake! Great pool and hot tub you could stay there for hours. My husband booked a special treat for us and we stayed the Wordsworth suite which was unreal! Our very own hot tub looking out onto Windermere. Waking up to the views was...

Very interesting hotel - a (pleasant) surprise round each of the many corners. Comfortable room with a great view of the lake (I believe that 52 of the 57 rooms have). Staff we met were all friendly and helpful. Food in the nicely laid out restaurant was excellent. The hotel was easy enough to find and has adequate parking facilities....

On arrival, staff were friendly and polite. However our accommodation was up in the attic and leisure facilities we in the basement area! Lots and lots of stairs an no lift!! After recently recovering from pleurisy I found this too much and asked if they had another room on a lower floor. The staff were absolutely brilliant and changed our...

Initial impression arriving in the dark left us worried, slightly worn carpets and longish walk downstairs to our room. We neednt have worried, the walk walk was to get down nearer the lake. The view in the morning was astounding! The breakfast was absolutely superb with lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. Evening meal was also of top quality again...

Unfortunately, we found this Hotel to fall well short of our (not overly high) expectations. The Hotel Website pictures are all lovely and shiny, giving the hotel a real quality look. However, upon arrival at our room, we knew immediately that this was not what it appeared. Our room was dated to say the least - this is not a...

The Wife and I both love the lakes and booked this last minute for a spa break. Hotel was clean and tidy with an old stately home feel. Very comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast was ok. Not a massive selection but what was there was nice. The Spa was exceptional, very neat, clean and modern. We both had a...
