My daughter and myself stopped for one night whilst doing the C2C and stayed in the superior suite. The guesthouse is well setup to receive cyclists and has a dedicated covered locked area at the rear to lock away your pride and joy. We were welcomed by Leon who immediately sorted out the drying out of our wet things (after...

Recently stayed 2 nights as part of the C2C cycle ride and this really is a fabulous B&B. There are loads of lovely details: massive range of teas and coffees and lovely toiletries in rooms as well as fruit, biscuits, chocolate, bath robes. We had a huge twin room (no.6 - a suite really) with a double and a single....

Stayed at the Brooklands Guest House a couple of weekends ago as we were attending a friend's wedding just outside Penrith. Nice warm welcome from Leon on arrival who helped us out with the parking and showed us to the room. Debbie had already emailed earlier in the day to check what wine we liked and this was nicely chilled...

Our family of four had the pleasure of staying at Brooklands GH this past July. The accommodations were impeccable, with new and regularly maintained amenities. Water, fruit, biscuits, coffee and tea in each room every day along with an amazing breakfast served in a beautifully maintained dining room. Parking passes free for guests. We booked a room for 4, and...

We stayed here in April for one night. It was superb! We were greeted by Leon who was helpful and friendly and clearly proud of his fabulous b and b. We had the top room which consists of two rooms and a shared bathroom. Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. There was fruit, water and chocolate in the room...

Just one night spent here, breaking the journey between the Midlands and Scotland. Single room was perfect, with fresh fruit among the welcome touches that make this stand out from the crowd. (Others; a fridge, wine glass, dental kit etc) On arrival Leon offered me a coffee in the dining room, so I had a preview of breakfast, but was...
