We stayed in the Garden View suite en route to Scotland and also on the way back. The suite includes a bedroom with en suite shower room and a sitting room with large picture windows giving a beautiful view over the garden and the Cumbrian hills beyond. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. Richard and Christine...

Stayed at Ashbank B&B whilst attending a wedding in Penrith and didn't want to drive home. We never stay at small places but we are so glad we did. Nothing was too much trouble even when we arrived back late - sorry by the way. Unfortunately we don't need to stay in Penrith much otherwise we would stay a lot...

We stayed here for one night on our way up to Scotland. Richard, the owner, is a most genial host, He is a trained chef & our meals were excellent. The B& B is conveniently situated with nice views from the sitting & dining rooms. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Was travelling to Scotland and stopped of in Penrith to break the journey and my boyfriend and I booked into Ashbank bed and breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and the views from the window were breathtaking. The breakfast was the best we have ever eaten in a B&B. We have booked a stay on our return journey home....
