Had a great three days, lovely fresh cooked breakfast and evening meals, food and hygiene was of high standard, lovely room clean throughout Richard and Chris made me feel so welcome nothing to much trouble, would recommend this Bed and breakfast,

Normally stay in hotels but on spur of the moment decided to book into this lovely b&b with our friends. The owners were great, the beds were comfy and breakfast was amazing. Would definately book here again. Nothing more to say 😊

Stayed here for one night with friends while I attended lowther show. On arrival, what looked like an unassuming house turned out to be a real gem of a place. Large bedrooms with great facilities including cookies in the room, fantastic views and what a breakfast!! Shame it is so close to home as I would love to stay more...

Very welcoming proprietor, on arrival was there at door as we arrived. Lovely bedroom , really comfortable bed super king size, and good ensuite bathroom. stayed for one night on the 23rd of may and was welcomed by Richard on arrival. He showed us to our room and we were very impressed, with all of the amenities you would expect from a very good work house. This B & B is in a perfect location for stopping off from the M6 on the journey to and from Scotland. It is only 5 minutes from the motorway but the rooms have beautiful views over the Lake District. The room we had was large with a bedroom and ensuite shower room and a lounge area overlooking the garden....

We had a lovely weekend - the rooms were clean and comfortable, the views fabulous and the breakfasts excellent! It was great to be welcomed and made to feel at home, and we appreciated the advice about local eateries. No problems at all with booking - phone message was returned promptly. Four months ago we received an invitation to the Penrith area and looked for suitable accommodation via the internet. The initial telephone call to the Ash Bank was strange as we were informed that they had no diary for bookings 4 months in advance and they took our details to telephone us again when they did have a diary. We stayed at Ashbank Guest House as it was a perfect base to explore the north lakes and surrounding Areas .. we stayed 2 nights In the Garden View Which had its own private Sitting Room With TV to the rear of property ,had a large window overlooking their beautiful Garden and cumbrian views ..Richard And Christine was very hospitable...
