1st time visit to Penrith as we did the Settle to Carlisle line and our experience of the Station Restaurant was memorable! The staff were absolutely fantastic! Very polite and friendly. Also our food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. Would definitely return!

Very old and dated bedroom which had not been cleaned in quite some time- dirt was visible on bathroom walls. Rude staff in reception who made check in unpleasant. I was told to leave my car across the way from the hotel, as the couple of spaces on the road outside were taken. When I in fact discovered I received...

Well this comes as no surprise at all. Despite being told to park in the same place as all other guests who stayed that night, you chose to park in a superstore car park where there are clear signs warning of a 2 hour maximum stay. Having bombarded me with emails trying to get us to pay for your mistake,...

Really nice place great fish and chips with a substantial portion. After a day cycling it is just what's needed. Compared to some of the other places we looked at I think this was by far and away the best option and happy days it was close to where we were staying

Stayed one night. Friendly staff, small parking. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom could use little upgrading, clean but used. Traffic on Friday evening was little loud. Beds comfortable. Close to shops, gas station. Old castle ruins right next door.

My other half and I went for something to eat as we were staying locally. Staff were really friendly, however when it came to getting our dinner it literally took about an hour to arrive and it wasn't even that busy! If that wasn't bad enough a guest at the hotel received their meal before us even though our order...

Stayed at the hotel as part of a team from work, working at an event the following day. We had all travelled from different areas of the country and all the team at the hotel could not have been more helpful and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed. Rooms were lovely and the beds were really comfy. Food was...

This is a family run pub/hotel only 2 minutes from the town centre situated by ancient castle ruins. Owners and staff are very welcoming and make you feel as if you've known them for years. They really engaged with the kids and made us all comfortable enjoying the childrens company too. Location is 2 min walk from train station or...

Hotel is less than 5 minute walk from train station and the town centre. Excellent evening meals!! Was very pleasantly surprised. Staff are very polite and chatty, helpful. Bar was quiet at night but we enjoyed it. Room comfy, big, had everything we needed including private en suite. Couldn't open the windows, not sure why but could be health and...
