We had a trip to Penrith and decided to stay at the Ashberry Guest House and what a great place to stay. Phil made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room which had everything we needed and explained all to us. We asked for directions to the Italian were we were eating later that night and his...

I would rate this Guest House in the Top of the places I have stayed. Such a friendly welcome. Parking is right on property. The hosts really think of everything. We even had menus from all the local places to eat so it was easier for us to pick some where to eat. The city centre is a short walk....

We were greeted with a lovely welcome late at night and were show everything we needed to know in our room. Nice greeting in the morning from the staff with a personal...

Very warm welcome by the owners. Spotlessly clean and very modern with great comfortable beds. Modern rooms in a house that is deceptively large! Great location for the town centre, and easy to find off the motorway. It is right on the junction of some main traffic lights, and opposite the petrol station, so easy to find, but if you...

We arrived on a rainy evening but we had a sunny welcome from the owners. They helped us with the luggage and showed us to our room. It was to the back of the building and was quiet. The room was spotless with not a spec of dust to be seen anywhere. The bed was comfortable, something we are very...

We were travelling back from Scotland and so Penrith was a good halfway stop. Ashberry Guesthouse was perfect for our needs: very clean, quiet, comfortable, good wifi, walking distance to pubs/restaurants in Penrith and had parking for the car. The room was a little small (not much room for dealing with suitcases), but that didn't matter for one night. Breakfast...
