We booked Craglands as it was the only place (at the time of booking) that had two single rooms available - they are quite rare to come by nowadays - and at a reasonable price too! The single room is small (as you would expect) but enough space even for a week's worth of fell walking kit etc. Internet access...

Pauline and Mark just made our visit! They were so friendly (and funny!) and helpful. Our room was cozy and clean, our breakfasts tasty and filling, and the location was an easy walk into town. Pauline and Mark have all the maps needed for hiking and are knowledgeable about the trails. Visits to nearby villages were recommended and worthwhile.

Really pleasant guest house with welcoming owners. We had an en-suite room which was clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast and the location is a manageable walk to Keswick. Free parking is also a big plus.

This was a gem of a find for me. The couple who run Craglands couldn't be more friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, what to see/do, where to go... Add to that it is a short walk (15 mins) from town (so quieter than other accommodation sites in the town) and it really is the perfect holiday stay for...

The room was tiny, but that's the only negative. The location was a pleasant walk to anywhere we wanted to go in Keswick. The breakfasts were great (I didn't know how big a porridge bowl could be!). The hosts were a wealth of information re the Lake District, and extremely helpful above and beyond expectations.

I stayed here on my own for 4 nights whilst I did 3 days of walking/ running. Every day the owners offered to print and laminate maps for me of where I was heading. My room was very cosy and the rooms and bathroom were very clean. The wifi is good. Plenty of breakfast choices with a lovely view from...

Extremely helpful owners, clean room, comfortable bed, my room unfortunately facing directly over the very busy main road into Keswick but quitens down substantially into the late evening. Bathroom en-suite, tiny enclosed shower that needed some gymnastics. My first ever B&B in England (always stayed in hotels), surprised no daily clean up of room or making of the bed, but...
