Craglands is around a 20 minute walk to town centre located on a road full of similar establishments. The walk is well lit despite what other reviewers said. Stayed 2 nights in single room. Clean and functional small bedroom, shared bathroom along the hall. Excellent breakfast and friendly hosts. Mattress was a little uncomfortable as it was too firm.

Stayed here for a weekend with my Daughter absolutely fantastic couple who couldn't do enough for us from the minute we entered the property. Rooms really clean and beds very comfortable with great views. Breakfast was one of the best I have had and served with a smile also homemade bread was a really nice touch. Not very accommodating with terrible parking on a busy street that's dangerous to leave from because of the blind curve. It,s clean with good breakfast but hostess complained.to guests in dining room about having to serve an early breakfast to a couple of hikers. Host wore same shabby clothes for two days.

Stayed in the single room and had a great stay. A good price, comfortable bed and amenities and one of the best breakfasts in Keswick. Great portion size and variety. really friendly and helpful hosts and would gladly return in the future.

Mark and Pauline pull out all the stops for their guests and go that extra mile to make things a bit special... they even make their own bread for morning toast (it's only been 11 hours since I checked out, and I'm already mourning the loss of Pauline's delicious scrambled eggs and local Cumberland sausages). I love the personal touch;...

An absolutely wonderful stay. The room was lovely with a big comfy bed and two nice chairs. Bathroom was small but expected given the type of building, it was clean and the shower was nice after a long day on the fells. Breakfast was amazing and the homemade bread was an unexpected treat. Mark and Pauline were brilliant hosts, nothing...

Stayed here for 2 nights in September. Very well planned room, with all necessary extras (hairdryer etc). Especially liked the fact that the radiators were warm on a particularly cold morning. Breakfast was a little 'overwhelming' but we soon learned! Hosts were very pleasant and incredibly helpful. Thank you

If you are looking for a posh and cold holiday venue then don't head to Craglands. From the 1st minute to the last Mark and Pauline are waiting to meet your needs, even if you are a little strange like us. (1 veggie and 1 gluten free) They'll offer extremely helpful advice, which can save you time and money but...

Wonderful stay with Mark & Pauline. Friendly and helpful hosts. Room comfy and breakfast delicious. Definitely recommend to friends. Even though room looked onto main rd not disturbed at all. When I had to park away from house second night they noticed and were worried that I'd not made it back ok. It's the little things like this that make...

We recently stayed at Craglands for the fourth time. We simply couldn't do any better - best B&B we've stayed in by a long way. Pauline and Mark are superb hosts; they are enormously helpful for ideas for walking and knowledge of the area, as well as lots of practical stuff such as drying clothes, packed lunches (at a small...
