First of all Keswick is a great base as you have some great walks, scenery etc on your door step but a nice town with plenty of places to eat and pubs for a drink or two. Honister House is superbly located as close as possible to Market Square but not so close that you are going to get disturbed...

It was our first time to the Lake District and Honister House (Ged and Carol) made the stay seamless for us to really enjoy taking in the trip to a really beautiful part of the country. Centrally situated to the town (right across from a tea room!) it is a pleasant short walk to the lake and right on the...

We booked the room at Honister House quite short notice and we were happy there was a room available as it had some very good reviews on trip advisor . The bed and breakfast is centrally located just before you take a short walk to Derwent Water and is close to shops , pubs and amenities right in the centre...

What an amazing place to stay! Little things like a generous 11 am check out and a relaxed two hour window for breakfast really helps Honister House stand out from pretty much every other B&B in Keswick if not the Lakes. With just three rooms, staying here feels a lot more personal, it really is like a home from home...

This small and chic guest house is right in the heart of Keswick. Everything about it has been carefully thought out to give guests the most enjoyable and relaxing. Carol and Ged are really lovely, friendly hosts and make you feel very welcome with home baking treats in the room and good conversation. The rooms are spacious, well kitted out...

My teenage daughter and I recently stayed at Honister House, and I can't say how wonderful both the place itself but also hosts Carol and Ged are. At Honister House, you get the best of a boutique hotel - really great beds, modern bathrooms, luxury linens and towels - with the best of a bed and breakfast - excellent breakfasts,...

We stayed three nights in early July. I have the same problem that other reviewers have in that you cannot express easily just how first-class Honister House is. Everything is as good as it could be from the lovely comfortable room to the excellent breakfasts. The location is perfect. The home made cakes are amazing. But what really makes Honster...
