We stayed for two nights in the new attic room. The bed was super king size and really comfortable. The room has a sloping roof so might not suit everybody but we loved the views out of the velux windows. The room was very nicely furnished and the tea/coffee, bottled water, chocolates on the bed and biscuits were lovely touches....

My wife and I attended the Keswick Mountain Festival and stayed at the Rowan Tree for four nights. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and prepared one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. The black pudding is the best. My wife is vegetarian and was given plenty of options for...

We stayed over the Keswick Mountain Festival weekend and had a very enjoyable experience. The Rowan Tree is situated close to the bustling town centre in easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Our room was immaculate and had a lovely super size bed which gave us a very tranquil nights rest. Breakfast, was, quite simply, the best that I...

Large very comfortable room twin beds and a single bed, nicely decorated room in lovely area parking right outside. Gorgeous bathroom the only thing that let it down was the cheap plastic toilet seat, it sounds petty but the whole B&B was so lovely it was a shame. Stephen was very welcoming and gave us loads of information. Breakfast was...

We stayed in Room 3 which was a bit tight for space, but very clean with nice décor and everything that we needed. Steve and Amanda were very friendly and helpful, and served us a wonderful, tasty cooked breakfast. There is a drying room which is great if you have wet dirty clothes from walking. It was an easy walk...

This is our 3rd visit to the Rowan Tree, Amanda and Steve make the perfect host's and nothing is to much trouble when welcoming you to their beautiful B&B and well appointed rooms. Our rooms have always been immaculately clean, with personal touches that make it more high end accommodation. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room and is...

We only stayed one night and my suitcase fit under the bed - otherwise there wouldn't have been room for it. There is a very shallow armoire where I put some clothes so I could get to them. Breakfast was good and we could book online which was a big plus once we were on the road. There were trays...
