A group of us recently stayed at the Cartwheel Guest house whilst taking on the English 3000s challenge. We could not fault our stay, Nigel and Debra were extremely warm, friendly and welcoming and even woke up extra early to provide us with breakfast. Stayed at The Cartwheel again for the second time. This time for a two night break. Once again The Cartwheel and it's hosts Nigel and Debra didn't disappoint. I have stayed at the Cartwheel under both the previous and the new owners. The quality has remained consistently high. spotless throughout great breakfast. The rooms are equipped with the normal tea and coffee making facilities and home made cake available during the afternoon.

We had a great stay at the cartwheel for our 17th year of attending the beer festival - very friendly hosts, lovely clean and comfortable rooms, great cooked breakfast and all within couple of minutes walk to centre - perfect.

A group of four of us stayed here whilst attending the Mountain Festival. Nigel and Debra were very welcoming. They offered to lay out a cold breakfast for us as we were heading out before 6 the next morning for one of the sporting events. Yet again an excellent stay in one of the best b&b's in Keswick. Good sized, well kept rooms, cleaned daily & well maintained, & the breakfast each morning was awesome. Easily found, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. A very warm and friendly welcome by Nigel and Deborah who took care of me and everything throughout my stay. Fantastic welcome,Nigel and Deborah are really genuine people friendly and helpful.Breakfast is superb and sets you up for the day,rooms are comfortable and clean ten out of ten.They are both very knowledgable of the area and always giving good tips as to where to go on the mountains and socially on a night time.

Always a wonderful stay in a relaxed environment with great breakfasts, afternoon cake and kind hosts! The rooms are exceptionally clean, tidy and have everything you need. I will continue to book here when staying in Keswick.

Packed lunches are available at a nominal cost and we will be pleased to fill your flask with tea or coffee free of charge, just drop it off at breakfast.
