Stayed here for 3 nights this week. Have stayed several times before. The newly refurbished bar and lounge are excellent - a vast improvement. Rooms very cosy and well maintained. Breakfast and evening meal cannot be faulted. Throughout the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for a stroll into the town. We will be back!

Just returned from another perfect three night stay. Our rooms were in the station building this time; love the decor and attention to detail, and whilst the rooms are huge, the temperature was just perfect! All the staff were first rate - special shout for Jordan, Ryan and Victoria in the restaurant and Ash in the bar; you go the...

We were a party of 8 staying for 2 nights on a weekend when it rained non-stop. So thank heavens we chose this hotel which was the perfect refuge! The newly refurbished bar and lounge areas were a fantastically cosy and comfortable place to while away the hours while the rain heaved down. We dined in the hotel restaurant on...

We booked a short break here after reading trip advisor reviews, and have to say the public areas look very nice and immaculately maintained although I found our room which was supposed to be a superior room ( not sure what made it superior) looked very tired and in need of refurbishment. On the plus side the staff were extremely...

We have been going to the Keswick Hotel now for 9 years, either with our family (18 of us) or just my wife and I. We have never been disappointed once with the overall experience of our stay. The service is always excellent, but this year it has exceeded it's self...whatever your doing (Stephanie Rogers, manageress) keep it up! The...

The hotel might look 'tired' to some visitors but remember this is an older property...it is still well looked after, clean and comfortable. What more do you want? The staff a friendly, helpful and chatty to make you feel welcome. The dinner menu is impressive and the food quality. The breakfasts are all you could ask for...cooked, Continental and all...

Just spent a lovely break at the Keswick Country House Hotel and was very impressed with the location, the hotel and the staff. As it was once part of the station and near the, now long gone, railway line in Keswick it is on the edge of town but don't be worried. It's a walk by the park and you're...

Enjoyed a 6th short break here. As always a very nice experience. The hotel has been refurbished since our last visit- it is brighter and airier especially in the communal areas. Excellent food and very pleasant staff. Room comfortable. Not sure why an upgrade is charged for garden rooms but reasonable charge for half board anyway. Easy walking distance for...

Three couples booked here and had a very pleasant weekend. Very well organised hotel, particularly at meal times, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout. The hotel lounge area was particularly attractive and it has been blended together well within the basis of what was the hotel linked to the old railway station. Rooms were comfortable and the food...
