Really nice site but very small, no shop when I visited last August and no play area to my knowledge either. The site is just a short walk out of Keswick where there are plenty of shops and parks to play in.
We only stayed in small lodge for a couple so sorry don't think I'll be much help. The lodge we stayed in had several wooden steps to gain access so watch out for this if you book for your senior travellers.
