Was lucky enough to book to stay here for a few days. Heather & Steve are such a lovely, friendly couple. The rooms on the top floor are cosy and have the most amazing view, would highly recommend booking these. Great selection for breakfast with the best tasting porridge ever and endless supply of coffee and toast. A mini fridge...

Enjoyed a one night stay on our way to Northumberland. Lovely friendly hosts, Heather and Steve. Yummy breakfast and cupcakes on arrival. Definitely recommend. Good to know you can get a one nighter ; most places require at least two nights.

Although the majority of our reservations are for 2 or more nights we often accept one night stays especially for travellers on the long trip north to Scotland or for those attempting the popular coast to coast route. Many of the guests who have enjoyed the comfort of our home have often returned for a longer visits to experience more...

My self and my partner stayed here for a few days. I have been visiting Keswick for a number of years and have stayed in a number of B & B's - this was by far my best stay. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. The views from the room were also excellent. There is also free...

Giving our guest house that "home away from home" feeling has been one of the most important considerations for us since first starting at Pitcairn House in early 2007. Reading through all your lovely comments we were extremely falttered by your very kind remarks but it also confirmed for us that we are undoubtedly achieving our aim. We genuinly feel...

We found Pitcairn House two years ago on trip advisor and have just got back from our third visit to this lovely town and great B and B. Stayed in room 4, lots of space for relaxing with large TV and two easy chairs to stretch out in. Breakfast keeps you going well into the day, and Steve and Heather...

It was lovely to see you again this year especially as there was some doubt as to whether there would actually be a Jazz Festival in 2017. From what we have seen and heard from our guests looks like it was another success and seems set to go ahead again next year. Our close location to town as well as...

I have been staying at Pitcairn House for many years, always a warm welcome from Heather and Steve. The rooms have some great views and are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is amazing, it's also only a few minutes walk to all the pubs and shops which is perfect after a hard days walking. I look forward to many more...

Looking for a familiar location for a couple of nights and Keswick just kind of fits the bill but where to stay? First stayed at Pitcairn House around 30 years back (no kids) but migrated to camping for the next 20. Anyway, stayed at a few `B&B s here and once even a hotel but decided it was time to...
