Stayed overnight with family and our fox terrier. A really friendly welcome. Nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious, particularly the home-made bread which was amazing! The rooms were spotless and beds comfortable. Very competitive price. Would thoroughly recommend this B&B.

Larry's Lodge is an excellent B&B. From the warm welcome to the attention to detail ((HEAVY cotton bath robes are divine!!)) and FIRM comfy beds with home made patch worked cushions to prop yourself up on to watch TV if you don't fancy the evening entertainment of Keswick and... the home made bread & marmalade for breakfast: this place is...

Dave & Sue made us and Daisy feel very welcome the moment we arrived. The place was spotless and we had a lovely spacious room. Breakfast was excellent with Dave's famous homemade bread which is quickly becoming a major talking point amongst the guests. Dave & Sue's knowledge of the surrounding area was invaluable and they were both more than...

Dave and Sue were very helpful and welcoming. Apparently there were a few dogs staying with their owners that night but you wouldn't know it! The rooms were clean and comfortable and our bed was massive! The breakfast was outstanding....even homemade bread and jams. I wouldn't hestitate staying here again even if we didn't have our dog with us. A...

My 12 son and I took our dog to stay here. We were all made to feel very welcome - especially our dog. Very clean and fab breakfast. Home made bread was delicious (cranberry, seeds and local honey!). Thoroughly recommend. Thanks Sue and Dave

Sue and Dave and lovely people, and have great knowledge of the area, and all it's attractions (of which there are many). Breakfast was great, and the homemade bread and jam was very good....

I stayed here recently while on a walking holiday with friends in the lake district. It's a classic top quality B&B. There's a warm welcome on arrival (Dave is a lovely bloke). The rooms are well equipped and it was the best shower I'd had all week (better than the youth hostel the previous day!) Larry's lodge is located in...

My Fiancée and I stayed here for a long weekend in April with our dog Babs. The location is great, so close to the town and park with also only a short walk to the lake. We stayed in room Babs (obviously) and it was perfect for us, it was very clean, comfortable with everything we could need for our...

This is a lovely friendly home from home Bed and Breakfast. As a 'lone lady traveler' I was warmly welcomed by David and had my bag carried to my room. The accommodation is warm and cosy and very clean! Even though this is a dog friendly B& B there is not a hint of any doggy smells in the rooms,...
