Absolutely disgusting place. Don't be fooled by the courtyard that preceded the entry to the pub. It's disgusting, staff are shocking and all in all it needs to be shut down. Who doesn't take card payments in 2017?

The pub advertises itself as a football so I went to watch the football as I've done on many occasions and sat at the usual table . After being there for nearly all the first half we were rudely ordered to get up by a woman stating dominoes had priority. Fortunately there are other pubs in the town which show...

Called for a bit of lunch last week and even though it was quiet it took ages to get served. Food was ok when it eventually arrived but the toilets were in a disgusting state and it does make you wonder what the kitchen hygiene is like. We won't be returning.

We dropped in here on a Sunday night ,we were looking for somewhere too eat, the pub itself is very big inside, it's dark decor was ok, we ordered drinks and stood at the bar too check out the menu, but as we stood there we noticed flys on the ceiling above the eating area, and not a couple I...

Love the atmosphere in this lovely pub in Kendal town centre. Burgers are amazing and certainly not microwaved as previously stated. Well cooked and well presented with a REALY nice side salad and coleslaw to die for. Will definitely be calling in again.

Short and to the point, the food was awful. Microwave burgers! Yes you heard me correctly. They try to make up for it by piling your plate full of (pretty dire) chips. Probably one of the worst pubs for food I've been to. On a positive note, the selection of ales was good and the female who served us was...

A pub located a the higher end of town avoiding having to wade through the water after the river burst its banks. The staff were warm and friendly and the drinks cold, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the game. I didn't stay long enough to try the food but we hope to be back in the summer.
