My wife and I stayed at the B&B for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding, Shiela & Alan were perfect hosts. The b&b was spotlessly clean, breakfast was 1st class and they couldn't have done more for us.

We visited the Bridge House for a weekend with our toddler and our friends. The hosts Shelia and Alan really made us feel at home. From the small touches like providing toys and setting up changing facilities, to providing an excellent breakfast exactly when we wanted it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the sitting room is very...

My wife and I stayed here as a stop off on our way further north. We had been to the Ingleton Falls walking trails on route and were looking forward to relaxing with a brew. Sheila (proprietor) was very welcoming on arrival. She showed us to our room which was cosy, nicely decorated and well finished with good furnishings, bed...

Our room was lovely with all those "little extras" that make a stay special. Our hosts couldn't do enough to help, including booking a restaurant for us and taking us on a tour of their unusual garden.

Thank you! It was lovely having you to stay and you did 'squeeze the pips' out of your time here in Kendal. Next time I will try and organise better weather. 25* here today...

Hosts could not have been kinder or more attentive from first telephone contact and being met promptly at agreed pick-up on Dales Way ( after a VERY long walk). On entering Bridge House were treated almost as family - mugs of tea made, shown the bathroom, walking socks taken from us to be washed and boots taken away to be...

Stayed here for the last night of a Dales Way walk (Ilkley to Bowness). Sheila the owner arranged to pick us up from the closest point of the walk to Kendal as the walk doesn't actually pass through the town. Although we were wet through due to the weather it wasn't a problem. On arrival at Bridge House we were...

The owner Sheila lovely lady, collected me from the Dales way and set me back there the following day! Amazing breakfast including fresh bread and croissant, awesome lemon curd! The room was fab and offer of a bath was well received! Chocolate covered Kendal mint cake and an early start made sure I reached the end and got my train...

We stayed here Friday and Saturday 8th and 9th July. Sheila was a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a double room. It was lovely and clean. The breakfast was very good. Before we left on Sunday she took us on a tour of the garden....I wont say anymore...find out for yourself. The house was...

An excellent B&B with a warm welcome. Comfortable room and a delicious breakfast with home made bread and jams. We would highly recommend Bridge House as it is just seven miles from the M6 - a pleasant stopover on a long journey.

Thank you Sally. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. It was lovely to meet you both. I hope the Kendal Mint Cake helped with your journey home down the M6! Best wishes, Sheila
