Excellent campsite! Friendly, clean, not over packed. Great location- nice walking distance into Hawkshead. Farm animals for the kids to visit. Open areas for playing games. Stunning shower block with a lovely games room with free wifi! We will be back!

Such a relaxed, family friendly campsite. The facilities are brilliant, always clean and warm and there's a TV room as well. There's only a few electric hook up pitches but it's no bother as they have a milk man that comes round every day with eggs and juice and all sorts and the walk to the co op from there...

We have just stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter bank holiday. A lovely location just a 5 minute walk into Hawkshead which has quite a few pubs, cafes and few shops. The campsite is nice, shower blocks are really nice, clean, modern and warm with hairdryers and sockets to plug your own electricals in to, with a nice...

We hired a bell tent. I thought it would be cute and clean. Was I wrong? When we got here we had absolutely no idea where to go to find our tent. The toilet block was awful there was hair on the toilets and the sinks were dirty. The toilets had human disposal all over them. The bell tent had...

Spent five nights on this site in our caravan, very clean facilities, beautiful area, great walks from site. Great low key site ie not too much fussing about ball games, tent distances etc. We had a great time and will be back!

We stayed here for a few days camping. It is a lovely location, plenty of space and a short pleasant walk into the village of Hawkshead. The shower and toilets are immaculate, the nicest I have seen in a campsite. It was very good value for money. The only downside was no play area if you have small children, although...

We have been here many times and love it. Facilities are clean and fabulous, plenty of toilets, free showers, lots of sockets and hairdryers. There is wifi. The site never feels overcrowded. The surrounding walks are great and it is such a short stroll along the stream to Hawkshead village. Great for kids, feels so safe and family friendly. Reasonably...
