Extremely helpful staff and an excellent stopover point for C2C-ers. The facilities were v. clean and just what we needed for our trek, including drying room facilities and plenty of breakfast provisions. It's also always nice to meet like-minded people in YHA venues.

Gorgeous period building, well preserved in stunning nature setting. Friendly staff and comfy (although warm) rooms. Great for outdoor activities. Only downside is that the kitchen for self-catering is in separate building to the bedrooms, which is a mild inconvenience.

A lovely hostel set in nice grounds with plenty of social rooms/spaces available. All rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent: really friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts, lunches, and dinners prepared at the hostel were all grand.

Stayed for a night in a "twin room" (which is a bunk bed) after hiking in the area. Expected basic but comfortable, with shared bathroom facilities. Got a tiny room that wasn't clean (dirty tissue on floor), with very thin mattresses, noise from above and...More
