Our first visit to this lovely hotel. It had a lovely homely feel, all the staff were friendly and professional. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and my husbands favourite sticky toffee pudding was fantastic. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Lovely hotel with good views either side. Great value - we payed an extra £5 for b and b for our grandson. Nice homely place with more of a personal touch than the larger hotels. Neil, Tracey and Ollie.

We arrived without reservations and were able to take a beautiful superior room with canopy bed and en suite. Our bed had a Breakfast is served to order. Great value and excellent location. The hotel also has a full service bar. WIFI is included, but we found the speed and connection unsatisfactory.

Booked this hotel as a surprise weekend for my girlfriends birthday. Grasmere itself is a lovely small village that has lots of character and is in a great location to get to the many places of the Lake District. The hotel itself was very clean, tidy and welcoming. The decor had a traditional feel to it that worked well for... More

Stayed here with family. We had family room and ground floor double. Staff friendly and accomodating. Food was great. Good value for money for dinner for residents. Lounges comfortable and welcoming. Pleasant grounds to relax. This hotel is centrally located, there is a nice atmosphere and it is peaceful. All in all we will return
