Just out of the centre of Cockermouth in a pleasant street not far from where I was working with pleasant staff and a clean and comfortable room. There are good restaurants in 5 minute walk of hotel as the hotel restaurant is closed on the Sunday night. The hotel is quite and is very comfortable.

A lovely period hotel in a quaint village. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the food was good, and the beer was very tasty. The nightlife in the bar did get a little rowdy, but the staff dealt with it professionally and with tact. A good experience and one I would visit again.

Revel in Georgian splendour in this wonderful establishment. There is nothing to fault this place, it is centrally located, plenty of car parking space, rooms are comfortable, staff are friendly and amenable, food is excellent especially the warming Cumbrian breakfast. We really were sorry to leave.

When we drove into town this hotel caught my eye. I thought it would be out of our range. Through booking.com it came up with a mid-week special and we jumped at it. We were not disappointed. The room was a huge double, a bath!! with divine toiletries. The rooms were spotless. Our room had duel aspect and both windows...

I stayed in the Manor Hotel for two nights with 8 friends whilst playing some golf locally. We could not have asked for more from the hotel. All the staff, including reception, room staff, bar staff and waitresses, were very welcoming and friendly whilst remaining efficient and professional. It is not a large hotel so it has a homely feel...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor House Htl, room was a little old fashioned but this was a minor point as it was clean/comfortable, shower was fantastic (big bath towels also) the staff were very kind/helpful & breakfast was 10/10. Cockermouth is a lovely little town.

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the hotel itself is in a great central location with easy onsite parking available. The single room i stayed in was clean, functional and cosy. I also had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant one evening and i have to say that the meal was fabulous!

Having visited Manor House several times over the past 3 years, I can comment with absolute certainty that the consistent high standards and warmth of the reception by all the staff at this hotel never waiver. The rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel staff are extremely efficient and there is always someone at the bar to serve...

We arrived early but checking in was no problem. The twin room was very spacious and extremely clean, loads of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We did not get the chance to sample the food but if I visit Cockermouth again I will certainly stay here and I would recommend it to anyone

Stayed for one night at short notice, the staff were so friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The lounge area is particularly nice and very cosy. It is a very short walk to town centre and the prices were exceptionally reasonable. I would highly recommend this to anyone...
