The room was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed, but set along the main road, there was constant road noise throughout the night. The free breakfast was lovely with a...

This is a restaurant with three rooms above. We stayed for one night in room 2 which is perfectly adequate. It has a small ensuite off the room. Complimentary hair & shower products are provided. There are tea/coffee making facility's, a small free standing tv and a hairdryer. Downstairs there is a beautifully decorated restaurant. The food was reasonably priced...

The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They serve a delicious full English breakfast and if you need evening meal then the restaurant serves 5 star food. The log house...

My husband and I booked 2 nights at The Log House and we weren't disappointed. The service we received was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we were given helpful advice on where to visit which meant we maximised the time we had. We had less than a 5 minutes walk to the centre of Ambeside with bars and...
