Lovely traditional Cumbrian farmhouse with a fire in the front room to welcome you. Vikky is a great host and has lots of info about the area. It has clean and tidy rooms with stunning views of the Langdale Valley. She cooked up a large veggie breakfast for me too!

A great nights sleep in a comfortable room with an excellent full english breakfast in the morning looking out at the amazing views over the Langdale valley. Robinsons Place is a friendly family farm that dates back to the 17th century. Look out for the date carved into the wooden cupboard doors in the living room wall. We were up...

Yet again we have had a great stay at Vickys Robinsons Place in Langdale. Only one night, which is rarely available in the area. Brilliant breakfast with a great host, no frills, no en suites but views, host and £60 for two people staying great value. A great place in a great valley.

Tenanted working farm. Location to die for. One mile east of Dungeon Ghyll with just possibly the best dawn view of the Langdale Pikes on the planet. Absolutely basic, with communal bathroom. Towels "thin" to say the least, but bedrooms and dining room spotless, beds and bedding superb with cosy duvets and eiderdowns, dining room well set out, and "The...

We stayed with Vicky at Robinson's Place Farm in Great Langdale. The valley is stunning and a brilliant place to start your walk up Scafell Pike (we actually drove our car on up to New Dungeon Ghyll before starting), or any walking in the Lake District. Vicky was very kind and accommodating and friendly and the B&B was excellent value...

Great stay with Vicky in a beautiful spot. Excellent full breakfasts and easy walk to nearby food and drink places. Vicky was very helpful with contact information which led to finding a relative nearby! Will definitely try to visit again.

Our first time at this B & B, it will not be our last, value for money it's as good as you can get we loved it. We are past our prime but you have easy walks up the valley (3 watering drinking venues in one and a half miles, and the other way towards Skelwith Bridge you have 3...

Pleasant B&B set in spectacular countryside, ideally located for exploring the Langdale Valley and surrounding area. The B&B is run by Vicky, a welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful host who does a really good full English.

I stayed here with my 2 adult children for 2 nights. We have visited Vicky before and we all enjoyed this stay as much as previous. There is a warm, cosy and homely feel to Robinson Place and we wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else when visiting this area. It is so quiet and peaceful with spectacular scenery and no...

We'd walked a long way to get here and it was a great experience to have our family stay on a real farm with sheep dogs, lambs, tractors. It is very much a family home but you have your own lounge and can make drinks for yourself in the dining room. The family are real hardy Cumbrians who can tell...
