We stayed for one night on a whim. There were 4 of us in the smaller caravan (the 4the being our 8 wk old baby in a carrycot!) plus dog! A very fun idea and a great site. Whether it be camping or glamping, each pitch is a very generous size. Access to the lake and acres of woodland and...

We've just come back from a weekend in Birch Yurt. The Yurts are great, cosy (the wood burner is really powerful) good equipment (the salt, pepper, oil and washing up liquid is a really nice touch). The kids absolutely loved running around outside building dens and finding sticks. Super well insulated, only getting cold in the very early hours. We...

Myself, my husband, our 9 year old daughter really enjoyed our stay in the Vardo wagon. The wagon is small but super cosy & the log burner really does throw some heat out. The day hut is a great idea for extra space for cooking etc. All that was missing were matches/lighter for the gas stove. Our daughter also loved...

We stayed for a week in the Hawthorn yurt and had a fantastic time. The yurt was well equipped and comfortable. The setting was peaceful and relaxing. Very handy having the woodburner as even though we were there in August we did get very wet and at times it was chilly, so were able to dry out and warm up....

We recently stayed in the Chellah Berber, although it was fairly large and had a reasonable amount of equipment it lacked any style, we've stayed in yurts before and always found them a cosy option but this one left us a bit sad. I was hoping to have a bit of privacy and a nice area to sit out, unfortunately...

Having never stayed in a yurt before and booked last minute, we didn't know quite what to expect when we arrived at Low Wray campsite, but were so pleasantly surprised! The directions and information sheets we received led us to the yurt easilly (though a second person in the car is necessary to read them as a SatNav won't be...

The Yurts were very well equipped and had everything needed and more! Luckily the weather was on our side and we were able to make use of the outdoor seating and bbq area also. The log burner was an added bonus and the fire wood provided made sure we were able to keep it running for the whole week. The...

I can say quite honestly that this was the best holiday Ive had in a long time and if you read only one line of this review then it's PLEASE EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF!! My only complaint was that I had to leave, I could have stayed forever. Starting with the campsite, it's beautiful! Every morning I would take my...

The campsite is in a beautiful location which we loved, but we were really disappointed with the beds/sofas and other equipment in the Yurt. The beds were painfully uncomfortable to sleep on, for adults and children, and not much better to sit on as sofas. Basic equipment was lacking - not even 5 sets of cutlery in a "5-person" yurt,...

I am sorry the yurt wasn’t upto scratch and you felt it uncomfortable – there is a check that should have happened with regards the checks of crockery and cutlery, as there should be 5 of everything in a 5 man unit.. With regards the comfort of the futon mattress’, I have replaced these - normally when people let me...

We have just spent the September weekend staying in a Wild in Style Yurt at Low Wray National Trust campsite on the edge of Lake Windemere. The location is wonderful and our children (aged 8,6 and 5) loved having the freedom to roam during our stay. The Yurt was warm, dry, equipped as promised, and was nicely positioned amongst the...
