Myself, husband, two sons and my sons girlfriend stayed here for two nights. My girlfriend and I were extremely impressed with Claremont House. The location is central, our room was fantastic - clean, spacious with big windows - and the breakfasts were perfect fuel for long days walking. Just stayed here with our two children for a couple of nights. It was superb, the property is immaculate. Beautiful bathroom with great shower. The breakfast ingredients are of a very high standard and cooked beautifully. Angela and Dave are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

Our son & his partner have stayed here several times & took us here as a birthday present. Claremont House was as perfect as a B&B could be and Ambleside was fun, even in the rain. The other reviews say it all. Thanks Dave & Angie.

Although our room was at the top of the house and a little on the small side it was very comfortable and at the rear overlooking...

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It is a lovely bed and breakfast. The rooms are very clean and well presented. We liked the empty wine glasses and bottle opener on the landing should we have wanted a bottle of wine in our room. The breakfast is cooked to order and the couple who own it are extremely...
