Weekend break in ambleside stumbled across this little gem....great pub...amazing staff... Good entertainment...very welcoming ...will defiantly return..the name helps too....good food menu although i didn't eat here the menu was of good variety

No, I didn't stay there... I thought I reviewed it as a pub, I didn't notice it was listed under a hotel as it suggested on trip advisor that I rate it based on my location. I didn't realise it was an issue? we just popped in for a pint after visiting the waterfall and it was very friendly so I thought I'd say something nice about the place
