As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome, and shown to our room. Every thing was as we expected and better. Our room was above the bar/restaurant and low music could be heard but it did stop at 23:00 hours. We ate in the restaurant and the food was first class. This is a very...

Unfortunately we were unable to stay as booked due to my son being rushed into hospital. I contacted the hotel and let them know very last minute. They were lovely and wished my son better. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few days later they had refunded the cost of the stay to my account. This was totally unexpected...

Amazing service that would go the extra mile to make guest feel comfortable. Once morning we asked for low-fat yoghurt. Though apparently the kitchen ran out of low fat yoghurt, the waiter simply jumped into the next Sainsbury to get all the items needed. The whole restaurant and hotel is extremely clean (I saw them constantly flooring and polishing). Overall,...

A very very strange experience made worse by the unbelievable high scores in reviews which I find extremely suspicious. When you arrive in the small car park concerns start with the dust and high volume of litter then you walk to the bar /restaurant entrance by way of old, dirty and dusty decking (not part of theme). We arrived at...

The hotel was once a railway station which has now been converted to a hotel with a western theme. The room was spacious with lovely wooden furniture and furnishings to sort the them. Good quality toiletries and lovely good sized soft white towels were to be found in the spacious bathroom. Plentiful supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits...

Excellent quirky hotel. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Room was very comfortable with those little extras to make you stay even more pleasurable. The food was truly excellent and the bar / restaurant full of character. I had the Chilli, which is highly recommended and a pitcher of Blue Moon Beer, a great way to relax after a...

We visited here overnight and what a surprise! Lovely furnished rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic shower. The service was good, shown to our room and member of staff pointed out the amenities in our room. The restaurant was fun, very good American style fare. The staff were attentive and on hand if you needed anything. Breakfast the next morning was...

As a hotel resident asked for a drink after arriving at 22:15 on a Saturday evening to be told "the bars closed" there's always a first for everything, just be aware if you think you may have a drink after a long drive !!
