So handy for the ferry terminal. Very good Indian restaurant with an open kitchen and chefs who are prepared to adjust seasonings (heat) according to taste and also go 'off menu'. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are OK but could do with a refresh as could the exterior. But who visits an inn to sit in the room?

Overnight stop before the ferry, hotel is well positioned for the Ferry Terminal, the main reason for staying here. Room clean but very basic, best bit was the Indian kitchen in the back, curry was OK but as we live in the west Midlands it was always going to be a hard job on the curry side. Quite friendly, only... More

It really depends what you are looking for. I have a high rating because the staff are very helpful, courteous, polite, friendly and make you feel welcome. The only downside was the bathroom. The room was large as we had a family room with a double and a single bed. Not all the stations worked on the TV but again... More

Being a five minute drive from the ferry's, this place should be a little gold mine and from the outside it looks like a traditional pub, inside it's far from it. The restaurant is Indian cusine and is well decorated. We didn't eat there if only because we'd had a curry the night before. The problem is the whole hotel... More

We stayed for one night before getting the ferry. On the plus side it's convenient for the ferry, the staff were very friendly and helpful, it's cheap, and the towels were nice. But I suppose you get what you pay for. The room was dingy but quite spacious, lights were dim. The walls were scuffed and the curtains didn't have... More

Booked for 1 night before going to France early the following morning. Lovely friendly staff. Shown to our room which was lovely and clean but a little tired. However, we were satisfied overall and had no complaints Ate in the Indian restaurant and the food was lovely

Arriving late, falling into bed, leaving early......... Wanted a cheap, clean room for the night, before an early start to the port. It was just that...... Didn't use the restaurant but it was v busy, hosting a family event (?). The noise wasn't intrusive. The experience is reflected in the price.

On arrival we were made to feel welcome an shown to our room. The room was very clean, but the decor was a little tired, the bathroom sink vanity unit door was very loose/falling off and needed attention along with a dripping tap (which the noise became noticeable during the night but was too late in the night to do... On arrival, the lady at reception was good showing us our room, but it ended there. Room was small, very dated, shower non existent. Free wifi still looking for it ...... . My iPad was bigger than the tv. On checking out had to let ourselves out as reception non existent very poor.
