I booked this hotel simply because it came up as a good deal on Booking.com, and offered us the opportunity to cancel, if required. So glad we didn't have to cancel, however, because we'd have missed such a treat! It was a real pleasure to stay here - the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable (with lovely big, firm...

This feels like a chain hotel, fairly impersonal, but it has all the facilities you need and is well located as a touring centre for this part of Kent. The decor is in need of refreshing and the dingy, restaurant particularly so. Our room smelled of someone's take- away when we arrived and still did when we left four days...

Rang to book (as advised) and to check there was beef on Carvery, table not ready and very busy. Fortunately nice wine selection. 20 minute wait and no Beef left, plenty of meat given though and roast potatoes, parsnips and seasonal vegetables so didn't go hungry. Food I've found always of a good quality here but does get busy but...

I left the hotel on the 18th of February. I was there for a short holiday with a friend. This was my second stay at the Victoria's. I didn't write a review at that time (a couple of years ago), so I'm going to write a copulative one. Just at the beginning of London Road, it's only 10/15 minutes walking...

Room was clean and comfortable, lots of tea bags coffee hot chocolate and biscuits, shampoo shower gel and soap were also in the room, staff were all very friendly and the breakfasts were cooked to order. Very convenient for the city centre, a 15 minute stroll I would certainly stay again

Pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful, in fact, upon arrival, there was a female member of staff, dressed to go out in the cold after her shift. Even though she must have wanted to get home, she stayed on duty longer than necessary to book us in and answer any questions we had...
