Very good prices, and my room was upgraded because the hotel wasn't full. Staff always present and friendly. Literally in front of the cathedral. Room tidy and cleaned every day. Massive breakfast. Couldn't reasonably ask for more. Definitely recommended

We stayed here for a night whilst visiting the city. Our room was cozy with a great view of the Cathedral, it was well stocked with tea and coffee and the hot chocolate was a nice surprise. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was surprisingly quiet, we had a great nights sleep! The staff were very friendly and...

Will try and keep this brief! Basically my sister and I had a weekend break planned as a Christmas gift for my mum. We were due to stay tonight but unfortunately yesterday my sister was taken ill. I called the hotel last night and was informed by Cristina that the hotel would try and change the date of our booking....

I stayed at this hotel last Saturday (12/3/16) with my girlfriend for a family event. The staff were lovely, the room was good but the views were fantastic. We sat in the window seat drinking the complimentary coffee overlooking the square. The bed was really comfortable and surprisingly there was no noise on a Saturday night, eventhough the town was...

This hotel is second to none for location. My room faced out onto the Sun Street and the Butter Market and from a roof top terrace through the foyer, I could enjoy the view of the Cathedral up close. The staff at the desk were friendly and accommodating and the room was very comfortable. I chose the continental breakfast that...

I stayed her a few months ago for work and it was a lovely hotel in the centre of Canterbury. You really couldn't beat it and the staff were very friend. This hotel has a lot of character and is perfect for anyone just popping through.

First of all. This is a three star hotel. I'm a Hilton or 5star traveller and really thought I'd be slumming it. How wrong I was! 5 star service, 4 star finish and 3 star price! Would stay again. Don't be alarmed by the ear plugs... That's for the cathedral bells if you try to sleep during the day. And...

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. We arrived early and even though check in is 3pm, they said they will do their best to prepare the room for us as quickly as possible. Asked us to leave our bags and go for breakfast and roam around town for a while. We did just that and when we returned...

On arrival we were very pleasantly greeted by a young lady by the name of Christina. She gave us a brief history of the building on route to our room. There are a few stairs to negotiate, but this being a very old building did expect it. Beautiful view of the Cathedral morning and evening. Our room was very pleasant...

Weekend break. Quirky layout befitting a very old mishmash of buildings. Fantastic central location in the Buttermarket. Cathedral bell wasn't particularly intrusive. Room was smart and the staff were very friendly.
