My Sister and I stayed at St.Stephens Guest House (Nov 4th-9th) and we found the location of this establishment to be excellent. There is a Sainsbury store within five minutes for odd & ends, but the most pleasure we found was the stroll along the rivers edge into the city centre. Our Twin Room was located on the second level... More

Excellent location being only a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral and free parking to boot. Very friendly and helpful and a fab breakfast. Room was functional and the bed very comfortable. The only criticism would be the lack of power in the shower. Would definitely go back.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable, with tv and Wi-Fi. Lovely breakfast on both mornings which set us up for the days. The location is great, the centre is only a short walk away which is great for shopping, sight seeing and locals pubs. The owner was very helpful, giving us a map of... More

My husband and I stayed one night here on our recent visit to Canterbury. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating - letting us leave our car there while we explored Canterbury. It is very conveniently located being a pleasant walk along the river into town and two supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked and good quality.... More

We only stayed one night as we were visiting 'to go down memory lane'. We lived close by 15 years ago and were pleased to be able to stay on the outskirts of Canterbury, yet within walking distance of the centre. Parking was behind the guest house and we were able to leave the car there for the duration of... More

We were made extremely welcome. We had a clean, modern room, very well equipped. Free Wi-Fi. Owners gave excellent recommendations for dinner with maps showing directions. The guest house is in a very good location; only a short walk to the town centre by the river. Free onsite parking. Excellent full English breakfast. I had to make an unexpected telephone... More

Arrived very late but owners were very helpful, rooms clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast cooked to order with plenty of choice. Good parking, good location as only short walk to centre. Will be staying there again if we are in the area.

This is our third stay at St Stephens since last October and it never lets us down. Everywhere is spotless, the location is just perfect, a lovely walk along the river into Canterbury centre. Breakfast is cooked to perfection. Sandra & David are the perfect hosts. Thank you both, see you again in October.

Stayed for 2 nights - this is a great B&B. Was warmly greeted by Sandra on arrival, she was very helpful on providing information on things to do in the local area and maps for the Canterbury area. I was in a single room which was clean and comfortable for a good sleep. The major bonus of this B&B is... More
