My stay ruined by the awful sour attitude of the female owner........Seems she has not changed over the years......My stay was some considerable time ago now......Severe attitude re parking. Crazily noisy into the early hours fellow guests - only dealt with far far too late and not by the owner - but her daughter - who happened to be staying?... More

We would recommend this B&B to anyone of any age. Incredibly reasonably priced for a central location, fantastic breakfast, comfy and cosy bedroom and free parking! We literally cannot fault it. Liz was a wonderful hostess and made us feel right at home straight away. We will definitely be returning! :)

Once again, St Johns Court Guest House' proprietor came through in a critical moment. Liz is a wonderful hostess; her guest house is clean, charming and perfectly located within the city walls on a quiet street. We honestly could not find a better place to stay! Comfortable beds, good showers, and a hearty English breakfast (with vegetarian option) are the... More

This short 2 night stay provided a pleasant and friendly base in the heart of Canterbury. A warm welcome was given by Liz, the proprietor, who showed us around the property so that we understood the facilities. Tea and coffee were available in the kitchen. Our rooms were well presented with toilet and shower facilities on the landing. Unfortunately, breakfast... More

We have visited Canterbury many times as our eldest son is taking his PhD at the University of Kent. However, we've never stayed over before. We decided to change that and took the opportunity to visit our son and attend the Food Festival at the same time. We selected St Johns Court Guest House based on its location and reasonable... Found this B&B close to the city center of Canterbury and stayed here with 2 motorcycle friends. The rooms are basic and have no on-suite toilets / bathrooms, but everything is so spic and span here that it doesn't really matter. Cooked breakfast is very fine. Center is within 5 - 10 minutes walking.

Simple comfortable accomodation in a central location. A great base for exploring the sights. Liz was so helpful with local knowledge and suggestions of things to see and do. A cosy and friendly place to stay.

We spend just one night there. Everything really clean. Breakfast OK. Free parking. Inside the walls of the town, so really close to everything by walk. The owner was a bit rude at the beginning (maybe because we arrived quite late over there).

We spent 1 weekend in Canterbury, and we found this Guest House comfortable, cheap and tidy. It is located at a short walking distance from the city centre, in a very quiet small street. private parking available in the back of the house. The landlord was friendly and helpful, and she made us feel at home. She takes care of... More

This B&B is centrally located so makes exploring the town relatively easy. The hotel room was clean, although a little bit old.the shared bathrooms were clean enough, however the shower was not very powerful at all.The breakfast was adequate. Overall a good choice for anyone looking to stay centrally on a budget
