We have stayed in many premier Inns as they have very comfortable beds and a good breakfast. This hotel was of the same good standard. Nice clean room with a lovely comfy bed and nice and quiet. Breakfast as usual was great and plenty of it. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Thank you to you all. Would highly recommend premier Inn.

We were visiting for the weekend to take part in the Isle of Wight Challenge, we picked this premier inn based on location. The hotel was everything we needed, it was clean, facilities were good and the staff were so helpful. Ayesha was particularly helpful when we needed somewhere to eat Saturday night as we hadn’t booked anywhere and the pub across from the hotel was full. We hadn’t booked anywhere as unsure how long the walk would take and she helped us find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was excellent at the Premier Inn, really good value. We’ll be booking again next year when we visit to take part in the challenge again.

Stayed over the May bank holiday from friday to Monday using but as poor base for the neighbouring bike rally. Got an amazing friendly welcome from Phil and allocated our rooms early as they were ready. Nice clean large well equips room. We had a great stay and booked our breakfasts there each day. Cooked brekkie was delicious and lots to choose from. Staff very attentive and nothing to much trouble. Best premier inn I've ever stayed at. Nice and close to a good pub and good central place for travelling around the island. Thank you premier inn and all the staff who looked after us. 🙂🙂🙂

Pleasant reception staff. Good location. Clean room. Very quite, as the room was at the rear of the building. Shame about the view from the window - open field, which I expect will be built on soon, where someone had dumped a few plastic barriers, rubbish and an overturned portaloo. They also need to train the local gulls not to poop on the windows 🤣🤣.

Paid for a family room but was crammed in to a twin room with an extra pop up single bed chucked in. The beds were so close together they were touching so you couldn't walk between then. Have stayed in family rooms in other premier inns multiple times and have always been a decent size with empire room for 3 beds. This was our first time staying in this premier in and it will definitely be the last.

Hello Michael, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us. We’re very sorry that you had a disappointing experience due to the room provided being smaller than expected. This certainly isn't what we would expect for any of our guests. We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management so that they can look into these issues with the Housekeeping Team. This will help us to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. Again, our apologies and thank you for taking the time to share your review. We hope that we can look forward to welcoming you back to one of our hotels again soon for a more enjoyable stay. Kind regards, Lauren

Packed like sardines in what was supposed to be a family room. Pictures advertised did not reflect the room’s true size or condition. Totally ruined my children getaway plus the long journey to get there only to be placed in a cubicle.

Myself and my daughter had a lovely short break and felt very welcomed by Megan on arrival and from Sarah during our stay. The interest shown towards my daughter by these team members made her feel very comfortable. A lovely place to stay.

Visiting the Isle of Wight with my family for a few days, obvious and easy choice for our stay was Premier Inn. Premier Inn are what i would consider the upper contender in the budget hotels market. Unfortunately on this occasion i have been left thinking i may have been wrong all of this time. Upon arrival and check in we gained access to our room, now initially after a 4 hour drive/ferry journey with 2 young children we dumped our bags off into the room and went out for dinner. When we returned in the evening it was apparent our room was not the cleanest it could have been. However, after a long day of travelling we were all tired and headed for bed. This is where the issues began, the hotel is directly next to a new KFC drive through so we had the joy of listening to The Fast and Furious isle of Wight boy racers into the evening. On closer inspection in the morning the extent of the cleanliness and decor of our room was clear. Again, i do not usually moan about this type of thing but the more i looked... 1. Heavily urine stained toilet seat. 2. Questionable stains and residue on the walls? 3. TV remote, simply disgusting! 4. Stains on the bedding and pillows. 5. Black mould in the bathroom, taps and shower look to have never been cleaned. 6. Stains throughout carpet of the room. 7. Beds ripped and damaged. 8. Kettle may as well be thrown away given the contents left in the bottom. 9. Shower or waste pipe from shower leaked from behind bath panel when in use. 10. The bed was dipped and uncomfortable 11. Pillows flat as pancakes. ...... I could go on and on and on....... I have genuinely stayed in cleaner hostels whilst on stag partys abroad than this room. I spoke to a member of staff at breakfast that morning and aired my concerns and was told the manager would be informed and that i was free to write and email if i wanted? At this point we were heading out for the day and i genuinely didn't want this to affect our time away with the kids. Long story short, Ill let the photos speak for themselves and you can decide if you would be happy staying or taking your own family to this standard of hotel/room. P.s, Breakfast was actually really nice, location was good and parking was spot on. Staff polite and helpful although may want to consider when someone may possibly be having moan about the condition and cleanliness of their room and that is followed up.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We’re very sorry that you were left disappointed by the cleanliness standards in your room on arrival. This certainly isn't the experience we would expect for you. We're also sorry to hear about the noise issues and the uncomfortable bed. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and teams has always been incredibly important to us and everyone in our hotels should rightly expect a safe, clean and protected environment. The Coronavirus crisis has brought this into sharp focus, which is why we have launched a new rigorous, daily cleaning regime across all our hotels. We apologise you found your room to not be up to the high standard we would expect. We have ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management team so that they can look into these issues with our Housekeeping teams to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope we can welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Megan
