We booked this pub for lunch with friends recently as our usual restaurant in Ledbury was full. We were delighted with the service, the food and the atmosphere. The menu selection is great and a good selection of real ales. Well worth a visit.

Comfortable accommodation, good food and central for the joys of Herefordshire, the Wye Valley and the Malvern Hills. The four available B&B rooms are on the first floor at the rear of the Inn accessed by an external staircase. The evening menu is extensive, and promotes locally sourced produce.

I have driven passed this inn on a number of occasions and on a recommendation decided to try it for our anniversary dinner. It turned out to be a very welcoming and overall was an excellent dining experience. A "traditional" inn interior is divided into a number of areas and I particulary liked the fact that from some positions you...

This is a very good stop over. There are only 4 bedrooms but nicely furnished with comfortable bed, hostess tray and ensuite with full size bath and toiletries. It was noce to be shown to our room and an offer to carry our luggage. The breakfast, served in the tea room was excellent with a wide choice apart from the...

Found this lovely inn from recommendation from Alastair Sawday's Dog Friendly Guide. Stopped off en route to Cornwall with son and dog. We had been driving from previous stop at Kirkby Lonsdale with various comfort punctuations for the dog. Arrived mid afternoon and sat in the sunshine in the very pretty beer garden. Rui the dog explored while we sat...

Stayed for 4 days while looking at houses. We were in room 4 which was finished to a high standard, with a massive bed. We ate all 4 days at the Oak and the food was brilliant, make sure you are hungry. All the staff were friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. When ever staying in the area will...

Stayed here for the Three Counties Show. Beautiful place. Room was nice with great big comfy bed and nice ensuite. But breakfast next morning was disappointing. No fruit or yogurt just cereal and a fry up. For such a lovely place with really friendly staff this was a let down - more choice is definitely needed. A gang of us...

Excellent friendly pub with rooms. Wonderful food (would recommend to pre book) , the pork with Parma ham and cider sauce was delicious . We stayed in room 1 with the terrace and it is just lovely. If in the area again would definitely book to stay.

Stayed here one night en route home, 16th century inn with oak beams and a nice bar situated about 2 miles north of the pretty town of Ledbury. The inn has four rooms with tea and coffee facilities and large flat screen TV. Large and very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. The food was superb. Friendly owners and staff, would recommend...
