I stay here maybe once a month for work, am always welcomed back by Bill and Rosie. Rooms are comfortable, from the smallest ones in the roof, to the large ones downstairs. Rooms equipped with fridge full of local treats (that you can buy). Breakfast is excellent, both the continental items and the large choice of local organic cooked products.

Stayed at Somerville House for 4 nights and will definitely be going back. Our room was comfortable with a great view and a very large comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival with tea and biscuits in the lovely lounge which was a nice touch. Great attention to detail - e.g. fresh milk provided in the room and a good... More

It started very well. A warm welcome, a complimentary coffee in the comfortable guest lounge, a lovely feel to the place. And it was within easy walking distance of the town centre and railway station, yet far enough away not to be disturbed by any noise. Parking was a bit tight, but adequate. But the room just didn't live up... More

I stayed here over the last Bank Holiday weekend as I was getting married in Herefordshire. I also recommended that friends and family stayed here. What a great decision. Rosie and Bill were accommodating before and throughout my stay. They were especially kind when I kept calling to revise my check in times. On arrival they were welcoming to me... More

Fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Hereford this professionally run hotel has much to recommend it. The Breakfasts are generous with friendly and helpful service and the rooms well appointed and noise free. There is off street parking. For those of us that prefer a bed that gently supports your back the mattresses are perhaps a bit hard and... More

Rosie and Bill do a fine job here of running a great place to stay near Hereford city centre. Very nice room, with excellent en-suite. Breakfast was lovely, especially the fruit salads (they do full Eng too!). Afternoon tea in the garden when we arrived was a nice touch. The house is situated in an up-market and very quiet area,...
