Although I only stayed here for one night, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Very comfortable rooms and superb staff who make one feel very welcome. The hotel is in a good location and makes for a restful place to stay.

We visited friends in Hereford and stayed here overnight. This family run hotel is close by the cathedral and quiet river walks, with private parking, right in the historic town centre. The service was perfect in every way, the staff were warm and helpful, our town house suite was spacious and provided with every facility and comfort. We had a...

We are local people who went for a very Special afternoon Birthday Tea.We were greeted with great courtesy and welcomed as though we were the most important folk in the world. Our place was reserved and the table was very nicely laid out,we were allowed plenty of time to make ourselves comfortable in very nice armchairs and enjoy a chat.When...

Family lunch, lovely table outside by the moat on a warm day. Food and drinks were excellent as were the staff. Salmon followed by lemon dessert in a peaceful location. Have not been for a while but menu has improved since my last visit. Still my favourite location but I miss the old fine dining days. Best location and food...

We stayed one night for a wedding in Hereford. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel. Everything is the best quality and the whole experience well thought through. Wonderful room with - tea and coffee making next to a sink, easily accessible plugs... I know it sounds silly but these details make a difference - also bottles of local apple...

We stayed overnight on a treat package with afternoon tea, tasting menu and breakfast included. It was a real treat from start to finish. The room, definitely impressive, was in the main building and very well finished. The fruit bowl and decanter of sherry were lovely welcoming touches. Cleanliness, as one would expect, was excellent; directions around the building were...

Wonderful hotel, having lovely rooms with a very pleasant view and amenities, rooms were very clean and tidy, well maintained with some very nice personal touches. Hotel is in a central, and yet quiet location within walking distance of Hereford Cathedral, the river and town centre. Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of hot food served at the table...

I felt very valued from the moment I arrived at Reception, at Lunch and the Evening Meal by all the Staff I came into contact with. I had the lowest priced Double Room and I was amazed to have all the extras included that would normally be counted as an upgrade in other Hotels with the extra cost - Bathrobe,...

Fantastic location. So peaceful and by the river too. Fabulous facilities and great dining, both for the evening and again at breakfast. Food wonderfully cooked and so nice not to be a buffet breakfast. Wonderful large room with huge king size bed.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the nice touches were the sherry, fruit and water in our room plus the bed being turned down. If you eat at the hotel, then the room rate works out cheaper . We did this for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is centrally located for the centre and the...
