It was a 70th birthday and all food was pre ordered. The food was excellent as was the service. Flowers delivered from the Blooming Workshop too. A great recipe for a private party. Mid week we were not charged for the private dining room, called the Mountbatten room

This is a very lovely hotel. The building itself, grounds and rooms are all really elegant and well kept. We stayed in the Oak room which was on the ground floor and had a large bedroom with a study area and access to a small courtyard garden. The bathroom was really big with a whirlpool bath and large walk in...

Amazing setting, easy to get to from the M3. Plenty of parking. The hotel and its grounds are exceedingly well kept. Room was a suite in a newer part of the hotel. Massive room, very comfortable with whirlpool bath and shower. Every thing I needed was on hand, bed was huge and comfortable, pillows a bit squishy but there were...

We can't believe we didn't know of this lovely hotel during the last twenty odd years we've lived in Hampshire. Just fancied a DBB and this popped up in searching for five star deal within 30 miles. Arrived to find a lovely room, Holly, bottle of fizz in ice bucket for the Friday Special DBB package. Terrific room....with infinity bath,...

We initially chose this hotel because of its relatively easy access to Heathrow Airport. Driving up the long winding drive, we arrived at a lovely, large old country house hotel. We were on holiday but the hotel does have facilities for business conferences and has just begun a cookery school. We were greeted warmly and shown to a most comfortable...

My son had bought a nice present for his mum of dinner for 2 costing him £110 and we booked a table in the hotel today, Tuesday October 20th, and ate from the set menu. Previously my wife had called to ask if we could eat a lunch time using the dinner gift voucher, and the helpful man on the...

I stayed here with my wife recently and we thought it was excellent. The hotel itself is an old 17th century manor house, so you have the wonderful setting and well manicured lawns that one would associate with such a property. I believe they have over 60 acres of land here so no shortage of land to go for long...

Simply wonderful place to stay. The room 'Rose' was spectacular - four poster and a luxurious bathroom with serious underfloor heating!! Dinner in the Avenue restaurant was fantastic on every level and the staff to a person could not have been more welcoming, helpful and polite. If it could be rated six stars I would.

Stayed in this hotel after a wedding reception. Beautiful grounds and hotel. Food at the wedding was delicious and served efficiently. Breakfast was disappointing because the cooked breakfast was cold. (The breakfast was a buffet.) The rooms were very well furnished with modern TVs. The bathrooms we saw were outstanding - lovely showers, double basins and jacuzzi baths.
