Loved the rustic atmosphere, quaint, staff good but could be brighter, had a guest for breakfast a business customer, I checked out then asked me if the guest was paying themselves, very embarrassing. Rather surprised there was no free bottled water at the bedside at night, most hotels today provide this service, especially for £180 per night, plus, plus, it...

Another Pig Hotel stay, always perfect. Rooms are airy, and rustic, staff are attentive and informative. Cocktails are as always fantastic! I will always recommend a Pig Hotel - my choice of hotel always !

What a beautiful place! We stayed here for 1 night as our wedding anniversary was approaching. There were some special touches that made it very personal like-we were shown up to the room, around the room & welcomed at the hotel away from the front desk, it felt personal from start to finish. They had arranged transport to and from...

My wife and I stayed her on the 22nd June 2016, prior to a cruise on the Queen Victoria, we don't normally stay here but at the Grand Harbour, but it was full due to all 3 Queen's being in port so we thought we would give this a try. A very nice room, particularly comfortable bed (room 1) and...

We loved our stay at the Pig in June for my daughter's birthday. Balloon and flowers in the room. Quirky double room with lovely stylish bathroom. All the rooms are different and our Comfy room even had a piece of Roman city wall in it used as a feature.Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Would stay again.

My husband and I have just returned from The Pig in the Wall. I would like to mention and thank all the staff for a wonderful break, especially Sam the chief. Sam was very attentive and was able to adapt to my husbands gluten intolerance without a fuss. The food was heavenly as was the setting and ambiance (and the...

This place has so much ambience I just loved the comfortable chairs and especially all the little pots with herbs and plants. It is a very interesting place as it is actuall in the stone wall surrounding Southampton. The wall was built in 1300 and I'm sure this place was built then. Extremely comfortable room and lovely big shower. The...

The most gorgeous little place with fabulous room, open bath, perfect shower, COMPLETELY spoiled by moody female manager and other young staff who appeared to be owners kids or spoiled teenagers. Overpriced unsuccessful food VERY unfortunately... makes this one to avoid, which is a real real shame.

Ok prices on the high side perhaps deter the crowds, but generally in terms of quality, comfort andt service it's good value for money - OK it's a pity there's never likely to be enough room for a conventional restaurant (or kitchen for that matter) but for all that, food at the Pig in the Wall is fine and their...

Pig in the Wall provides you with a very cozy, comfortable and one might say, quintessentially english, atmosphere and it is truly worth a visit. I'd especially recommend it to any tourists who are visiting the city. They serve a great porto, and great bites (essp the pork bites)!
