We had a most enjoyable stay at the EHH before our cruise. Our room was large and comfortable, and the shower was very good. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff were lovely. Cheerful and hard working and nothing was too much trouble for them. Cruise parking was very reasonably priced and the hotel is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminals. We would be happy to stay again and are happy to recommend.
The hotel was quaint and my stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly, polite and extremely accommodating to the needs of the guests. The room was clean and contained a fan as the weather was hot. Dining in hotel bistro was delightful. A chilled and relaxing surroundings with indoor and outdoor dining areas. The food was high quality, a wide variety of choice and excellently priced. My sirloin steak literally melted in the mouth. Would I stay again? Definitely. Would I recommend the hotel? Absolutely.
Used this hotel for a pre cruise overnight stay with parking of the car for duration of cruise . Hotel spotless food superb and staff very friendly and accommodating , would definitely recommend and would certainly use again . Short taxi ride to the cruise terminal .
Stayed here for one night. Room clean and modern. Fan available which was a major plus as very hot weather. the Staff were really friendly. Had dinner which was well cooked and reasonable value. the breakfast was good and we felt well looked after
Had extended family stay at this hotel, having travelled over from Netherlands for a short city break. I asked the hotel to pop a welcome gift in their room on arrival last minute, and they happily obliged. The couple were very happy with their gift and their stay, and I wanted to thank Jamie, the GM and team at the hotel for everything. Thank you for going above and beyond, offering that little bit extra to make a unique experience. That’s why I have given them 5 Stars.
We had a great stay. Nice stylish and clean rooms! Bathroom was big and our baby girl enjoyed the bath. Breakfast was good as well and the location is nice with parks around, that would have been great for a morning run. Unfortunately we did not stay long in the area.
Very nice and comfortable stay for a last minute booking. Check in was nice and smooth, bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was good as well, right in the city of Southampton. Would definitely stay here again.
Our first visit to this lovely hotel before our cruise. Couldn’t rate them highly enough. Room was clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Lovely breakfast the next morning. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely go there again
Excellent hotel. We had a lovely room (24) and the staff were very helpful. Nice bar/restaurant/garden, good choice of breakfast. Close to the port and town centre, takeaway restaurants right opposite. Just a charming friendly hotel, will certainly stay again.
Stayed here for 1 night due to daughters graduation ceremony, taking place in the city. The initial booking in was very smooth and the lady at reception ( sorry didn’t get her name ), was very helpful. A big shout out to Dion who was covering the breakfast shift in the dining room. He was both very polite and enthusiastic, even more so as our sitting was 06.30 !! A definite recommend, if you’re visiting Southampton.
